Guess who's back!

So, it's seriously been like FOUR whole months since I've posted. How terrible am I? I do have an excuse, uhm, reason, I have a reason for not posting. Haha. Although I have been busy pinning and making things that I've found on Pinterest, I have not been able to take photos of those projects because my camera was broken :/ Or so I thought! (It wouldn't turn on for months, I charged the batteries fully and tried several times and the thing just wouldn't turn on. Of course, when my husband tries, it turns on with no problem, lol.) Aaaanyways, I didn't want to post about my projects without posting the photos to show you guys how fabulous they turned out! So, you should be looking forward to those projects being posted soon. Some of those projects were given as gifts, so I will not be able to take a photo of those, but I'll post what I have! Yay! :D

Later Gators!

Rise and shine...

...and give God the Glory, Glory!
Hehe :)

This is what my typical morning consists of:
yummy delicious hazelnut coffee...

and

this handsome little guy!

My other two kids like to sleep late so there are rarely awake for morning coffee time, but I'll try to snag a shot of them for posting soon! Anyways, no new crafts this morning, but I had so much fun on yesterday's post that I wanted to post another. You know I need to get some practice in :)

Be blessed,

Drum Roll Please....

Okay, so...I was finally able to find some spare time and complete a craft! Took long enough, right?

First of all, Pinterest is addicting! Pin at your own risk! I have found it extremely difficult to tend to household duties when there are so many fabulous crafting ideas that need pinning!

With that said, I have a ridiculous amount of hopeful future projects pinned. I'd like to get them all accomplished one day, so I decided to pace myself and I created a checklist with 3 projects from 4 of my "boards" which totals 12 projects. Once I complete the projects on this list, I will then make a new list. At least that is the plan. But you will soon learn that I am not very disciplined at being organized (something I'm working on...also with the help of Pinterest!), and in typical me fashion, my first project was not even on my list! Neither was the second, "semi-craft"! I know, I know, I'm a rebel, haha!

Onto the photos!

My first official Pinterest project was inspired by this pin:

...and here is my version:

Whaddya think? Like it? I like it and my 5 year old likes it, which I guess is a plus since it's going in her new room!

I've been referring to the next project as a "semi-craft" because I really didn't make anything, I just assembled it, so yeah.

This is a Teacher's Survival Kit that I made for my nephew/godchild's
Kindergarten teacher on his first day of school:

...and here is my version:

Seriously one of the cutest ideas I've seen in a long time! Since I am homeschooling my kids, I can't really make teacher gifts (or can I?), so my godchild's teacher and class will be getting pretty cool goodies this year! Fun!

So, how am I doing with this blogging stuff? I picked up Blogging for Dummies at the local library. Should I give it a look or am I pretty good to go with it? Oh, any advice on how to link over (with a photo) to the original blog to give credit where credit is due would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I hope you enjoyed reading!

Happy Crafting,

Greetings!

A little about me:

- In February of 2010, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ
and I try my best to bring Him glory in my everyday life.
I'm not perfect and sometimes I fail Him miserably,
but thankfully His mercies are new every day!
Amen! Thank You, Jesus!

- My husband and I started dating during
my sophomore year in high school.

- We have three kids who I love to make things for.

-Their ages are 5 years, 3 years, and 2 months!

- All of their names begin with the letter "M".

- I am new to the homeschooling scene, but I love it.

- I love going to garage sales and/or thrift stores.

- I like craft shows, but I rarely ever buy anything,
I just take a photo of what I like and then make it myself!

- I've recently decided to start this crafting blog (obviously),
and I hope that one day I'll actually have followers
who aren't bored to death with me, lol.

- I love taking photographs.

- I love listening to Disney music on Pandora
when I'm cleaning my house!

- I really, really, really...really want to take my family
on a mission trip somewhere outside of the US.

- I have tons of projects that I cannot wait
to get started on and, of course, cannot
wait to post them all on here!

- I can't believe that I actually started a blog,
I have no idea what I'm doing...help?

- Oh, I almost forgot! I'm Lacy :)
